Studio is a communication tool that allows you to record and upload video and audio content in Canvas. Studio is available in your Canvas global navigation menu.

You can submit Studio content to an assignment by selecting the Studio tab from the assignment submission screen. You can also embed Studio content into a discussion reply.

Submitting a video assignment using Canvas Studio:

1. Start the assignment and select the Studio tab in the submission area.
2. Record or upload your video.
3. Select video and choose Embed.
4. Select Submit Assignment.

Submitting a video to a discussion post using Canvas Studio:

1. Open the discussion and select Reply.
2. Select on the Apps menu button from the editing menu and choose Canvas Studio.
3. Record or upload your video.
4. Select video and un-check the Display Media Tabs box.
5. Select Embed, then Post Reply.
