Respondus LockDown Browser is an internet browser that acts as a proctor for tests, quizzes, and exams in Canvas.
LockDown Browser will prevent access to other websites or applications during a quiz or exam; you will be unable to exit the test until all questions are completed and submitted. If Respondus Monitor is enabled as well, you will need a webcam to record your testing experience.
Any test, quiz, or exam with "Requires Respondus LockDown Browser" in the title requires this browser to take the assessment.
