To successfully complete the DNP program, you will need to complete a total of 1,000 experiential hours that align with the AACN DNP Essentials. Not all courses have experiential hours. If a course has required experiential hours, you must complete a minimum of 20 hours and a maximum of up to 40 hours during that course. Always check with your student advisor, not each course instructor, for your specific requirements.
To receive a grade for your experiential hours in each course, you will need to complete and submit a time log along with a reflection about your experience. Visit the Getting Started with CORE ELMS page in the Welcome & Getting Started module for more information.

Students should review the Academic Integrity and Dishonesty Policy in the University Student Handbook. Students are expected to approach their academic endeavors with the highest academic integrity. They must cite sources and submit original work. Academic honesty is central to the institution/student partnership toward student success. Students are accountable for adhering to the Academic Integrity and Academic Dishonesty policies in the University Student Handbook.
