Mastery Levels are based not only on the quiz score, but also on the difficulty of the questions you have answered. The questions you get on your first quiz attempt will be easier than the questions you get on your fourth or fifth attempt. As you do well on the quizzes, your Mastery Level increases and PrepU selects more difficult questions for you to answer.

Instructions for Completing Mastery-Level Quizzes

1. Start the quiz and answer each question. Take as much time as you need.
2. Review your results. You will see explanations and references for each question.
   
   


3. When you have finished reviewing your results, select "Take Another Quiz."
4. Select the appropriate chapter from the menu. The number of questions should default to five. Select "Start Quiz" to complete your next attempt.*
   
   

*Note: the number of quiz attempts you will need will vary based on your performance. You will take each quiz as many times as needed to achieve the target mastery level.
