American Career College welcomed partners from the health care field to a special gala event celebrating the relationships that have been instrumental in ensuring student success. Nearly two hundred health care leaders attended the event and were able to spend time with colleagues and friends at the beautiful Japanese Gardens in Fullerton. American Career College relies on partners throughout the local community to not only ensure that students and faculty are up to date on the latest developments in the health care field but also to allow students some of the best opportunities for clinical placements.
The evening featured keynote speaker Joe Avelino of the College Medical Center who spoke on leadership. Also in attendance was Dan McLaughlin of Health Care Executives of Southern California who presented a special award to ACC President Tom McNamara. The award of health care education distinction recognized American Career College and the faculty and associates for their work in the community.
McNamara thanked the clinical partners and employers for their support over the years and credited them with making American Career College the college it is today. See highlights from the event in the video above.
