The Barbie-themed Student Appreciation Rally this September at American Career College-Los Angeles was a pink-tastic party where students doll-ighted in high-"Kenergy" fun.
ACC-Los Angeles pharmacy technician student Claudia D. said she really enjoyed how the campus celebrated together, even though a lot of the students were in different healthcare programs and classes.
"That's something that blew my mind. Everyone is from different programs but still vibing with each other," Claudia said. "ACC really brings you in as a whole community even though you're from different programs."
Students took a break from their studies to enjoy a meal from In-N-Out Burger while listening and dancing to some glam-tastic music from Real 92.3. Between songs, students hopped in the 360-degree video booth or tried to win T-shirts and other raffle prizes like concert tickets or water bottles.
"Today is just a way to appreciate how everyone's been working hard," ACC-LA medical assistant student Kerlyn G. said. "I know it's fast-paced and some people find it difficult but that's just what it is in life — as long as you do the work, you're going to get somewhere."
